For Your School

Book professional development workshops and author visits, order books for school events and literacy initiatives, or support staff learning throughout the year with Nature's Path.

Nature's Path

Nature’s Path is a professional development program designed to help educators seamlessly integrate outdoor learning throughout the school year. Each month features ready-to-use lesson plans, seasonal activities, and practical strategies to engage students in meaningful, curriculum-connected experiences in nature.

Teach Outdoors School Series

Whole-staff, year-long outdoor learning PD - four live sessions, one shared culture. Most outdoor learning PD is one great afternoon that evaporates by October. This is different: built like group coaching for your whole staff - not a one-off keynote. By June, outdoor learning isn't "that thing two teachers do." It's just how your school teaches.

Testimonials highlighting the impact of these books in classrooms and homes.

"As a longtime teacher educator, I use the resources that Lauren has developed with my pre-service teachers. They are readily accessible with little prep and a multitude of opportunities to extend and connect learning, as they develop their beginning practice and pedagogy, making outdoor learning feel both achievable and purposeful."

"Love love love this book! A great read-aloud for students as an introduction to sit spots or revisit this book often to deepen students' connections to land! An excellent read for all children and adults - it has the perfect balance of interesting pictures, nature facts, and provocation questions to get you thinking & wondering! Highly recommend you adding this to your library collection!"

"Received your wonderful (and exceptionally well-wrapped book) and found it delightful. Such an ambitious project, to explain the importance of kids finding a place in nature to centre themselves and study their thoughts in real time. As a consistent meditator, I found its message so powerful. I know a first book is such a thrill. Thanks so much for sharing Me and My Sit Spot."
